With Oktober 2009, the European Foresight Monitoring Network is relaunched and changed to
European Foresight Platform
The European Commission under its Framework Programme 7 is providing the means to continue the important networking activities of foresight initiatives. Setting out on the previous work of the European Foresight Monitoring Network and ForLearn the new European Foresight Platform resumes its work. We are grateful to the community of correspondents and their valuable contributions that have filled EFMN activities with live so far and we hope to continue the fruitful work.

In the past, the EFMN-Briefs, of which 160 are displayed on this website, were a great success. We are now launching the first call of the next generation of Briefs, now call EFP Briefs. If you would like to inform the community of a recent foresight activity or a forward looking study, please submit your idea in the following template to:

The call is open until November 15, 2009. Authors of selected proposals will be informed by November 21 and kindly asked to write a 4-page EFP Brief to be published on the NEW EFP WEBSITE by the turn of the year.
